A very interesting lecture in the Da Vinci series of the KVAB – Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts! It focuses on the donation of the library of the then world-famous scientist Johannes Müller (1801–1858), professor of anatomy and physiology in Berlin, to the KBR. A donation that quickly became political, was not without controversy, and tells us a great deal about the relationship between the different branches of science in young Belgium.

Registration for the lecture is free, but mandatory. More information about the lecture and the speakers can be found on the KVAB website!
